This month has been packed full of so many things for our family.
We welcomed in the new year with a relaxing day visiting with family and friends. Plenty of gaming was going on as well as lots of Blu-ray movies too!
The kids headed back to school and work, as did Wayne, who enjoyed nearly two weeks away from the daily grind.
Our baby celebrated her birthday with a Mad Hatter Tea Party and sleepover with her girlfriends. It's difficult to believe she can be 15! If only I had imagined how fast precious time with our kiddos would fly by.
Here is the fun birthday cake that Rebekah made for her sister. Isn't it so cute? Rachel just loved it!
Both of the girls did an awesome job with final exams. They studied hard and got the results they worked hard for all semester. We are proud of their achievements.
Rachel is appearing in a production of "Charlotte's Web" at a local theater. She had her photo appear in our local paper which was fun to see. The kids are doing a nice job with this play.
We have had the buzzing and roaring sounds of Adam's snowmobile keeping us on our toes on the weekends he makes it home to visit:
You can see the custom handlebars he added over this weekend to make riding while standing and such a little more comfortable. Looks pretty sweet, my boy! Drive safely!
David is busy back at U of M working on his English degree and Computer Science minor. Anyone who knows of job openings or internships for new grads looking to write, especially in the gaming industry, give us a holler.
I had the pleasure of hosting a crop in celebration of National Papercrafting Month and the debut of the Spring 2010 Idea Book for Close to My Heart. We had a great day of scrapbooking and cardmaking with friends. Thanks, ladies!
That's some of the scoop on life in our household these days.
