Ring in the New Year with the January Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring January's Stamp of the Month, which is "D1452 Find Your Style" a set of stylish vintage images and sentiments great for some pretty cards and pages too.

If you have come here from Teri's blog, you are on the right path! When you reach the end of my post you will continue hopping along from the link posted for you.

We have another amazing group of Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's Stamp of the Month and other great Close to My Heart products on their blogs. Hopping along with us is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

Prepare to be amazed with a peek of some pretty new products from the Spring & Summer Idea Book that debuts to customers on February 1st.  However, right now you can get a sneak peek at the gorgeous items in the Inspirations brochure with items from the Wings Workshops on the Go Kit and a few great new stamp sets that you can get at a discount NOW.

This is my project for our hop, a 6 x 6 card based on the Designer Tab pattern from the "Wishes" cardmaking how-to pattern book from Close to My Heart's own Jeanette Lynton :

Project Supplies:
Stamps: D1452 Find Your Style, January's Stamp of the Month
Paper: Wings Level 2 packet
Cardstock: Colonial White, Juniper, and Vineyard Berry
Inks:  Juniper, Sweet Leaf, and Vineyard Berry
Embellishments: Z1393 Black Mini-Medley and Z1398 Wings Level 2 Assortment
Tools: "Wishes" how-to books, Micro-Tip Scissors, Edge Distresser, Cutting Knife, 3-D Foam Tape, Glue Dots, Sponge Daubers, and 2" Scallop Circle Punch

I used the rock-n-roll stamping technique to make the multi-colored bird.  I love that technique!  It's so easy and lets you make such versatile images.  My goal was to match this pretty new butterfly B&T paper from the Wings Level 2 packet that will be available in the Spring & Summer 2011 Idea Book.

Now "Hop" on over to Traci's blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to see some more great artwork!

Please visit my website to order your own items from the Inspirations brochure including the Wings Workshops on the Go kit which unlocks some great savings for you on stamps from the upcoming Spring & Summer Idea Book.  You can also contact me if you would like some help with placing your order:  lovetostamp.myctmh.com
