Close to My Heart: February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop! We will be featuring February's Stamp of the Month, which is "D1453 Friendship" a set of elegant damask print images and sentiments great for both cards and pages too.

If you have come here from Georgia's blog, you are on the right path! When you reach the end of my post you will continue hopping along from the link posted for you.

We have another amazing group of Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this month's Stamp of the Month and other great Close to My Heart products on their blogs. Hopping along with us is simple to do - just click on the link at the end of the post on each blog to move to the next one! Here we go!

The new and amazing Spring & Summer Idea Book debuts to customers on February 1st!  I know you will be blown away with all of the lovely paper, stamp sets, and embellishments, plus so much more!  Once you finish hopping along, go take a look at the online Idea Book on my Close to My Heart website:  http://lovetostamp.myctmh.com.  Then, let me know if you need your own copy of this great new Idea Book.

This is my project for our hop, a 6 x 6 card based on the Far-Sided Focus pattern from the "Wishes" cardmaking how-to pattern book from Close to My Heart's own Jeanette Lynton :

Project Supplies:
Stamps: D1453 Friendship, February's Stamp of the Month

Dream and Believe Until Your Dreams Come True

This is a dual-purpose post today.  I've joined up with the Inspirations Blog Hop & Linky Party being hosted by the Fabulously Artsy Tresa Black.  Thank you, Tresa for setting up the fun for us!

Inspirations is the January Sneak Peek special from Close to My Heart that gives you the opportunity to get some great deals on brand new items that will officially debut on February 1st with the new and stunning Spring/Summer 2011 Idea Book.

The second, and very special reason, for my post today is that our dear girl is having a birthday. This card was made for her. It reminded me how she not quite our sweet little baby we welcomed home those years ago. Instead, she is blossoming into a lovely young lady. This paper from the new "Wings" kit and these new stamps spoke to me and I thought they would be perfect for this happy occasion.

Project Supplies:
Stamps: D1452 Find Your Style, January's Stamp of the Month, and D1470 Dreams Come True, and the Wings Workshops on the Go exclusive stamp set
Paper: Wings Level 2 packet
Cardstock: Colonial White, Juniper, and Vineyard Berry
Inks:  Black, Juniper, Sweet Leaf, and Vineyard Berry
Embellishments: Z1393 Black Mini-Medley and Z1326 Red, Pink, & Purple Sparkles
Tools: "Originals" how-to books, Micro-Tip Scissors, Edge Distresser, Piercing Tool, 3-D Foam Tape, Glue Dots, Sponge Daubers, and the new Spray Pen which is included in the Wings Workshops on the Go kit.

And here, you can see a peek at the interior of the card:

Our weekend promises to be filled with lots of family celebrations and some travel time to meet up with folks to the north and to the south.  We'll also see off our new college graduate as he heads back to the big city for his job hunting adventure.

Here's wishing you your own special reasons to celebrate, to dream, and to believe in your dream!

And, enjoy all of the other wonderful artwork blogs along this Inspirations Blog Hop & Linky Party. You can join the fun too!

New to Linky Parties? Please remember good Linky Party etiquette:
1. Give Credit: Always link back to the hostess. Even if your post isn't created just for the party, you can add a "Linking up to ..." by going back and editing your post. Leaving a comment on your hostesses' blog is nice too.
2. Let the Guests find you: Add your link to your actual post, not just your blog address.
3. Mingle with the Guests: Visit at least a few of the other players and say something nice. Parties are all about supporting each other, so leave some love!
