Here we go! Here is a look at the images that are included with this stamp set:

Now, here is the 5 x 7 card I made. All products are available in the oh so stunning Spring/Summer 2013 Idea Book that you can view online on my website, http://lovetostamp.ctmh.com:

Project Supplies:
Stamps: S1304 April Stamp of the Month: My Sunshine
Paper:  X7169B Tommy paper packet
Cardstock:  Cranberry, Outdoor Denim, Desert Sand, and White Daisy
Inks:  Cranberry, Honey, Creme Brulee, Indian Corn Blue, and Outdoor Denim
Embellishments:  Z2419 Cranberry Marker, Z1705 Durables Square Studes, Z1808 Outdoor Denim Chevron Ribbon, and Z1817 Slate Polka-Dot Washi Tape Collection
Tools: Z1790 Cricut Artiste cartridge, Micro-Tip Scissors, Corner Rounder, 3-D Foam Tape, and Glue Dots

I used my Cricut Artiste cartridge to cut out those sweet hot air balloons.  For the stamping of them, I did some stamp rolling for the multi-colored look of them.  The trick to rolling your stamp is to ink up in the lighter color ink pad first.

Now you can hop on over to Jen's blog to see her addition to this hop. Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their blogs to see lots of fun artwork for your viewing pleasure.

Hope Your Day Is Happy

Shocking, I know, but here is a second blog post from me in one week! LOL This is another birthday card. My step-mom is pretty awesome and is celebrating her birthday tomorrow. Also shocking was that I was able to give it to her a week early! That was awesome to say the least because it also meant that we had the pleasure of a visit from her.

This card was inspired by the card found on the cover of CardMaker magazine's spring issue for 2013. It is a cool cascading card. This was my first time making this particular type of card. It turned out to be a fairly easy card once I engaged my patience to just follow their instructions kindly provided.

Project Supplies:
Stamps: Chantilly Cardmaking Workshop stamp set
Paper:  X7163B Chantilly paper packet
Cardstock:  Kraft, Cocoa, Cotton Candy, Pear, and White Daisy
Inks:  Black, Cotton Candy, Pear, Lagoon, and Pear
Embellishments:  Z1710 Paradise Just Blooms Paper Flowers, Z1702 Paradise Assortment Baker's Twine, Z1751 Harvest Assortment Baker's Twine, Autumn and Winter Button Assortment (retired)
Tools:  Micro-Tip Scissors, Sponge Dauber, 3-D Foam Tape, and Glue Dots

Here is a look at the back of the card:

Confessions of a Distracted Crafter

Confessions of a distracted crafter today. As much as I enjoy my cardmaking and scrapbooking, I can't seem to get ahead of the game so to speak. This winter has been filled with some health challenges and other roadblocks in life.  Most recently it has been a rare happening indeed when I send out my handmade creations to family or friends on time. In fact, lately, I have even been guilty of just plain missing some important family occasions.

Case in point for today's blog post is this card I created to honor my dad on his 65th birthday. It didn't reach him until more than a month past the happy day. My bad!!!

I found inspiration for my card on Pinterest.  Don't you just love all the crazy cool ideas you can find there!?!  You can take a peek at the inspiration card.

Here is what I made with for my dad, who spent the first half of his professional life on the Great Lakes.  I loved the nautical theme of the Tommy paper pack for this card:

Project Supplies:
Stamps: Chantilly Cardmaking Workshop Stamp & For Always Workshop Stamp
